Your Gaming Backlog/Progress Report!

Finished Cyberpunk 2077. 10/10 for me.Solid 60 hours of gameplay. From story to music to stunning visuals, enjoyed it throughly. Will definitely pickup phantom liberty during summer sale.

Taking a break from Tsushima and started: The Callisto Protocol. The graphics are f****ng insane.
Holy moly YES!!! Considering that it runs so well in the PS4 is a marvel in itself. Games that came close to its graphics splendor are Control and The Last Of Us Part 2. Both brilliant games.

Completed The Order: 1886 (PS4).

What a fantastic game. The entire setting in the old 1800's London, the interesting story, the characters and their historical names, Arthurian references... such a well made and polished title. Having said that, I didn't like the on-screen QTE events but that's just me because I never was a fan of QTE events in video games, ever. I find them very annoying. Other thing is the length of the game which is quite short but I'm okay with that because the game offers a very tight and well made gaming experience.

This game really needs a sequel and even though I realize that the Developers at Ready at Dawn have moved onto everything VR, I'm still going to hope we get one at some point in the future. The story if left far too unfinished!

Completed Hollow Knight with 100% achievement. The pantheons took twice the amount of doing all other achievement specially Pantheon 5.

Bought a few games from the sale. Gave RDR2 and RE4 a pass for the next sale. Unfortunately, ran out of space to install them, have to get the SSD asap.

All of the games that i have played in this list are very good.
Have to play batmans, tombraiders ( have never finished a tomb raider game so far - earlier ones) and frostpunk.
Bad north has very nice animations and absolutely loved shadow of war and its tormented orcs ( also mordor one is very good too).

Finished Callisto protocol. Why horror games have best graphics and stories. Apart from scary elements i liked everything. Going to start STAR WARS Jedi - Survivor.

Completed Infamous 1 on the PS3 (All Main & Side Missions).

Although the game is 15 years old now and the graphics look understandably washed out and dated the gameplay is still a lot of fun and the difficulty can be quite challenging at times which is reminiscent of older games. Sucker Punch did a great job with their first open world game back then.

Finish Callisto Protocol. Graphics are A-Grade. Decent story. Combat - extremely repetitive and (kinda) boring. Nowhere close to Deadspace 1 and 2 in terms of overall quality.
Started: Hogwarts Legacy. Been on my backlog for a while.

Having completed Infamous 1 I wanted to pick up Infamous 2 next but alas the HDMI port on my PS3 is busted! I will get it fixed soon but since I'm addicted to gaming...

Started Spec Ops: The Line (PC).

Re-playing this because it's been 12 years since I played this on release!

This one did not quite click for me. The major event that changes him, i did not even understand. Maybe i wasn't invested too much in the game at the time.
--------
I keep playing RDR2 slowly. Learned poker for 1st time in this series and played quite a bit of it in RDR2, but now i can see ai flaws.
Its nice, open world is well done with lots of detail. rats have swimming animation! animals lie down !
But the thing with detail is that it does not seem to be enough and i will like more and more. Writing / Story is okayish so far ( i think i started ch 3 )
Nice graphics. But blurry, managed by DLSS quality ( instead of perf ) and CAS.

--------
Also started replaying Doom Eternal just when i feel like. i played this in 10 year old 1080p 60 dell ips and now at 4k HDR oled. It used to look okayish earlier and now its pretty with nice HDR. Probably the best combat fps game ever ( q3?).
Usually i play 1 or 2 games. But now i have 4 games ongoing with Dusk and Ghostrunner. RDR2 is main and rest i play in bits and pieces, 2 on windows and 2 on linux. All good, will slowly finish them.

Finished Halo Infinite campaign in co-op mode. It's a fun co-op experience and the story is decent but short. But the customization feels very shallow and the open world isn't that engaging. It just feels a little underwhelming when taken together.

Going to start Jedi Survivor soon.
