Amazon Ends partial Payment via Amazon Pay.

Alternate way - Find the total bill amount, add the delta amount (bill amount - amazon pay balance) and then add that to amazon pay. Post this, you would be able to pay the bill from amazon pay.
What is the advantage of paying bills from Amazon Pay? I can pay bills using any credit card on Amazon Pay. Right?

Earlier, rewards were handsome using Amazon Pay, its almost NIL now..
There is one click payment with Amazon Pay while purchasing stuff (in case you have that amount in you APay wallet)
You can setup recurring payments as per schedule when they are due or want to pay.
Moreover, everything under one roof. (other wallets support this as well)

Others might share more about APay..

This voucher system is just a hassle for end consumers.
One for shooping, one for fresh , amazon pay for bills wtf.
Complicating amazon pay unnecessarily, will probably end up switching if this shit keeps happening

People who are min maxxers are still going to stick with Amzn Pay, I only use chortel app to pay one electricity bill and my postpaid bill because i hit the monthly capping for those said categories

What are the offers you guys use in amazon pay?
The only one i see are 100 or 200 cashback on recharging 2\3000 inr.

Buying amzn pay vouchers on smartbuy with 5x bonus using Infinia gives me 16 - 3 = 13% value back as points
That rate is for when redeeming against smartbuy hotel/flight bookings right?

@awestorr People (mis)use amazonpay GV buying at discount by any loophole which was the reason for icici amazonpay card original popularity & nowadays the same reason is behind the popularity of sbi cashback card though not as much as amazonpay card on its peak because of 5000 cb per month limit.

Some cards offer discount on Amazon Pay bill payments. Otherwise, with SBI cash back card it is still possible to buy vouchers with 5% cashback and use it for non-credit card bill payments.

Man, i didnt know that you could get amazon balance @5% off.
Maybe i need to get myself some balance.
Any recommendations, for someone who is still waiting to get his first cc?

It is better to get a normal icici credit card first as based on that one can get amazonpay cc for sure after 5-6 months but the reverse is not true & many ppl who got amazonpay cc first had to wait/still waiting for years to get their first normal icici cc, Also, amazonpay cc is excluded from almost all icici card offers on other websites & even on amazon itself the 10% icici card offer becomes 5% instant discount+5% usual cashback (if amazon prime member) for amazonpay card. Also, amazon has a limit on how much amazonpay GV one can buy on amazon using any cc so don't buy much else amazon will limit your acc & all cards used there to purchase any more amazonpay GV on amazon from any account.

If possible, try to get sbi cashback card as your first card as it gives 5% cb up to 5k every month on all ecomm websites but just like amazonpay card it is also excluded from all sbi card offers except for some rare ones sponsored purely by merchant with no relation to sbi card (aka no 10% offer for sbi cb card in any major sale on amazon/fk etc especially the biggest ones in sep/oct bbd/gis sale).

The Amazon Pay card is next in line for devaluation as it is being exploited too much.

Not necessarily true, every cc company/bank has their own specific rules for approving certain cards.

It is the preferred paid card to take from sbi if not getting cashback card but never redeem points on it or any sbi credit card before checking because sbi card has this policy where any reward points earned during 10% sbi card discount offer are taken back after 4-6 months & if by that time you have redeemed those points then sbi card will instead debit the equivalent amt in rupees using a ratio which will always be equal or more than whatever ratio the points were redeemed for (they consider highest ratio available for redemption in their GV catalogue even if practically nobody redeems points for those GVs because of being obscure/non-popular brands).

The Amazon Pay card is next in line for devaluation as it is being exploited too much.
It is already devalued after it became the most popular card in India. Nowadays if somebody earns more than 5-6k cb on it in a billing cycle month for 5% amazon purchases then their txn pattern & history on amazon/outside amazon is checked manually & only after that the amazonpay balance is credited & if anything found wrong then card cancelled.
