Delivered today.
Customer tested and confirmed that it is working great.
Remaining payment received.
Feedback left for customer.

The card arrived yesterday. It functioned properly for a few hours, and today I played a game for about an hour when the temperature was between 85 and 88 degrees, which the seller indicated was acceptable. and after that, the system screen looked to be black when being used for gaming. The system does not turn on after that. while switching, the power supply trips. When testing with a different GPU, the system functions well. It appears that there is a short circuit on the GPU, which triggers the PSU protection. I therefore want to know if it's my fault or if the excessive temperatures (faulty GPU) are the cause. Additionally, the seller is not responding to texts even though this is supposed to be on testing warranty Kindly intervene!

The card does appear to be shorted out if the system is working fine with other GPUs. If the GPU was working yesterday when you received it, and it only stopped working a day later, then obviously the short happened while the GPU was in your custody. Now the short happened due to high temps or not, that's another whole debatable story.

But if the seller gave a testing warranty period and the GPU is still within that window, then the seller should take responsibility for his commitment.

Can you post some closeup pics of the card from all sides in google drive or somewhere else?

Has testing warranty been communicated via PMs/other messaging means?
Not really exactly we talked abt testing warranty...but don't u think it shud be by default by 2 or 3 days ...plus max temps he mentioned on stress were 80 .

Condition of these stickers indicate that card have been repaired, over normal usage these stickers will never wear like this and warranty seal is broken too.

When you clean the PCB with isopropyl alcohol or thinner after repairing stickers end up like this.

Although it's just my guess maybe @rsaeon can confirm.

GPU temperature above 80 is not normal at all!

I hope you get a proper resolution

A few observations:

Don't buy GPUs from new accounts that are also patrons. There's no market/profitability in India for any kind of "Gaming Café", they're just fronts/excuses for mining operations. That's because any such operation profits more from food/drink sales than gaming. This was purchased well before ETH's switch to proof-of-stake, so it was used for mining. With mining comes either higher than average use or cleaning, both of which can shorten the lifespan of a graphics card — especially when done by people trying to get into the mining craze as late as this GPU was purchased (they're the impatient type).

Packing by the seller looks adequate at first glance, but it's really not. Original packaging is only good for from the delivery truck to the store shelves, there needs to be at least a few inches of extra padding which can be very cheaply achieved with a layer or two of school-grade thermocoule/styrofoam on each side. Anyone who's purchased anything from me would know what I mean.

This is because it's easy for the heatsink to deform or shift during shipping which you probably saw the result of with the higher than expected temperatures. Under 80 during the seller's stress test means you should've seen a lot lower during gaming, not 85 to 88 degrees.

Your power supply should be replaced, it's made by the same OEM that made the other Gigabyte exploding power supplies. It sounds like it's working fine now but it's best to swap it out as soon as you can.

Testing warranty doesn't appear to be mentioned so it's difficult to say what happens next. In the past, the loss was split between the seller and buyer.

The testing warranty wasn't committed by the seller, and you were made aware that the card was reaching 80C, you still decide to go ahead with the deal. And the fact that the card was delivered to you in working condition and it only "died" the next day makes the seller much less liable than it initially looked like.

Anyways, let's wait for the seller to reply and see what his proposal is.

Got out a while ago.
Responded you back on whatsapp in under 5 hrs from your text.

I agreed for a testing period, allowed you to test it out, then you released the pay.
I even shared details about it's stress test for 2hrs.
It survived all great with no issues.

The seal is broken as the card was repasted a while ago

yes u send me 1 minute of a stress video test.I even did gaming for 1 hour with no issues ..bt maybe The card is showing abnormal temps even after paste which according to few members say 88 is not normal.
i received Yesterday afternoon u texted me so many times in just 1 hour receive of the card to test and leave for feedback ..all this happened in just 3 to 5 hours even though I was busy yesterday I told you that in a text . I was able to test it this morning properly and did gaming .
All u saying is it happens coz of I did daisy Chain ..I don't know whether daisy Chain can do this short Circuit ..a single lane of two connectors can able to power 3070 ti easily i have seen that .Kindly members Share a light on Daisy Chain ..can this be a short circuit of Daisy Chain?

This is the first time Daisy chaining is mentioned.
Idk man, daisy chaning a 3070 on a 650 watt (bronze rated psu,i m assuming) seems a bit risky.
Especially since 30 series are known for transient spikes ,also rsaeon mentioned something about the psu oem being same as gigabytes bad models.

a single lane can give normally 220 plus 75 from the board and the 3070 uses a maximum power of 220 Plus in the game, it uses less than that. Those bad PSUs used to burn themselves first ..but My PSU is working fine even on the same connector. It's too difficult to say what could be the cause whether the GPU is faulty(most probably coz of temp issues or if it happened coz of the daisy chain. even if it spiked it wouldn't have a short circuit most probably a reboot would have happened unless the card life had reached to end plus it has not been even 24 hours of receiving the card by default it has to be in some testing warranty of 1 or 2 days. although I have already offered a 60 to 40 Share loss along with the card. coz I can't repair it here even if it is a little capacitor thing. I need to visit Delhi for that. So it is more like a loss to me than him well he is even reluctant to take back his card even at 60 % . he said Wait for a while.

Daisy chaining a 3070 on a 650w PSU shouldn't cause it to short, at all. I've powered an R9 290 (pulling 300W+) for two years on a VS450, just fine.

Although that Gigabyte PSU is garbage, and is a ticking time bomb.
