Just a quick info about Cashify warranty (6 months) service experience. This is for Apple MacBook Air 2020 (13'' Apple M1 Chip)- Refurbished that I had purchased around 6 months go. Keypad and Trackpad had stopped working. This happened after I hadn't used it for a while.

Anyways, They don't handle things directly and ask you to contact xtracover (who have dubious reputation at best). So you have do deal with a third party. The whole process took around 15 days to resolve with multiple issues with pickup and lack of proper follow up from their end. Also, xtracover does not resolve the issue themselves and sends it to a local vendor etc. with whom you have to share your pwd etc. for 'testing'. All in all, I wouldn't suggest buying things refurbished from Cashify, at least not laptops. I could have paid a few more rupees and bought a new one but thought, let's give Refurbished a try since it is cheap and good for env as well (reduces e waste). But it's not worth it based on the aforementioned.

Dodged a bullet because of your post , thank you

I’m on a lookout for a refurbished business laptop. Reading the above post I’m confused now. Actually I’m on a very tight budget as I’m short on funds after being out of job for a long period. So a new laptop is strictly out of question. My budget is max Rs 18000. I found a website selling refurbished laptops www.newjaisa.com. Has anyone bought from them? This company is also listed on national stock exchange. Or any other genuine online shop. I’m staying in Thane, so any good offline shop in Thane where I can get a refurbished business laptop within my budget will be fine with me. Please suggest.
