The Indie Gaming Scene - News, Views & Reviews

Road 96 is on the best best indie game of the last year, if u enjoy story rich advebtures like life is strange.
would definitely recommend to pick it up on a steam sale.

Been playing Don't Starve Together with a few friends and it is easily one of the best multiplayer survival games, its currently on steam for 156 rupees and they also give you a free copy that you can gift a friend. So its basically 2 copies for 156 rupees

Here are two indie oddities. Both very light hearted and silly - something you can play to relax and destress. Available on steam, play store and App Store.

1. Hidden folks (a hidden object finding game - with hand drawn art and sound effects made with voice)
2. Labyrinth city (again, a hidden object finding game with breathtaking art and tons of detail on each level you can just get lost in)

I wish this thread got more love from the members. Would like to see more suggestions covering the length and breadth of unique titles the indie camp has to offer.

I kept replaying this game constantly for many days: A Short Hike

I still can't say what exactly captivated me, but it's a combination of the cozy nature, little world and just so much fun to course around in it. I have it on Itch in case someone wants to try it before buying it.

Don't sleep on The Plucky Squire. Launched day before yesterday on most platforms - is free with PS Plus top 2 tiers. Absolute delight to play with young ones.
Also highly recommend Gimmick 2, Elsie, Pizza Tower and Thank Goodness You're Here (deliciously funny with tons of Brit humor).
