I wouldn't really recommend getting a one plus device
Too many green line and motherboard issues recently

Same for Moto Edge 50 pro, lots of heating issues and bugs, and camera doesn't work properly many times

Samsung S23 is good, but less battery life

Xiaomi 14 is a great option, but some devices have lens fogging issue(there have been some solution for it, but doesn't work for everyone)

Vivo V40 pro is also a good option, don't really have any cons for it, (other than the UI, and locked bootloader - personal preference)

And X100 would be even better, but shouldn't that be out of budget?

X100 is out of the scenario..
But if it's available below 50k then will check that too.

That is why I didn't wanted to buy s23. Low battery, compact phone = more heating. Otherwise everything is great.

Xiaomi 14 another heartbreak.

Vivo v40 pro ui is pretty bad. Not much useful as a overall package, offered by other devices.

Only one good option and it's all wasted by OnePlus.
If these issues continues then prices will go down further even after BBD and GIF sale..

I read on the forum for oneplus for green line issue you will get lifetime warranty. also in the newer model the green line issue is significantly reduced due to change in the screen is that not true ?

Honestly I can't really trust them right now
Since the issue was present in both 10 and 11 series

If 12 series doesn't have any issues in the next year, only then I will recommend it to anyone I know

I have been using Nothing phone 2 for last 8 months and I would absolutely recommend it. Smooth animations, quick and responsive, good camera. Its getting old now but if you get a good deal its very good.

Samsung Galaxy A55

Pros -
Design - metallic side panel & glass back
Camera - Excellent
UI - smooth
AI - wonderful experience
Battery - Fabulous
Sound - Terrific

Cons -
No 3.5 audio jack
No rocket launcher installed
No inbuilt refrigerator
No 109 inch screen
No underwater gaming facility
No provision for more than 2 SIM cards
No special app for samsung haters.

OnePlus 12 below 45k
Or
Iqoo 12 below 45k
Or
Vivo v40 pro available @45835 on Flipkart now (for me)

No nothing now.

Nothing 3 at 45k would have been great deal in this sale.

This sale not good.

Iqoo 12 below 45k is a good deal if you don't need to root/unlock bootloader
But it's not available yet.
Current price without exchange
OnePlus 12 55999
Iqoo 12 47749
Vivo v40 pro 45835
But it's not available yet.

OnePlus 12 55999
Iqoo 12 47749
Vivo v40 pro 45835
Vivo v40 pro = 45835
Iqoo 12 = 47999

Which one is best in camera?
And overall which is best.

I will buy today..
So please help me get the best device.

Or should I wait for OnePlus 12. To go below 45k.
There is no possibility of this.

Don't buy One Plus and Moto phones for "camera."
Stick to Samsung S series or Xiaomi Ultra's.
Or get the Nothing 2.

S23 256 costs 43k on Flipkart.
As for the battery comparison:

OP 12 is actually not that bad, getting a lot of hate in this thread. I moved from s22 ultra to OP12 and the pefromance, battery, smoothness is actually better than S22U. Oxygen OS animations are much much smoother than One UI.

The only area where i feel it gets beaten is camera but again its not that bad, probably 80% of what samsung s23 can do but you get a btter performing, battery phone so depends on the preferences.

As for green lines, i wouldn't recommend any Oneplus phone other than 12, yet to see any reports of OP12 getting green lines. Its actually one of the most VFM phones out there.

because S22U has that piece of shit Exynos, and OP 12 has had instances of green lines iirc

+1 Samsung fab made chips are better to be avoided, be it Exynos or Tensor or Snapdragon chips like 8 Gen 1/888.

Also, Oxygen OS is just Oppo's Color OS now, has been for years. Old Oxygen OS is long dead.

For me the UI ranking will be:
Samsung > Nothing ~ Pixel ~ Moto > BBK > Xiaomi > Rest all

Some like the stock Android of Pixel, but I don't because of the lack of features.

For green line, at least OP is taking care of them post warranty period, which is good but mostly OP phones suffer from it. Recently there are news of mobo dying, so not looking good for OP. Other than that OP12 surely looks good, but they didn't give any major discounts. It had been selling for 55k in previous sales as well & a free TWS is not as valuable as say a 7-8k discount for most.

Only change is, I wont recommend Moto these days, it was fine when they didnt have any updates, but their updates have been really buggy these days and they are removing features now too, the most egregious of it is Peek Display which was removed in A14 update. and since they now have new UI for the newer phone, older flagships from the 30/40 series are ****ed since they are not releasing updates for them.

S22 Ultra has Exynos SoC. OnePlus 12's have SD8 Gen2 and above. S23 has SD8 Gen 2.

Camera is mainly hardware based and all OnePlus ever does is do a software update to "improve" the camera when they are below expectations. If there are alternatives to OnePlus in certain budget then I will never go for OnePlus.
