i have used aspire around 20 Years ago, in Pentium 4 era, Solid Brand and Budget friendly , it was with me for 6 YEARS, thats a good lifetime worth the price, and i expect latest aspires will run atleast a Decade.
i bought it for 1,25,000/- at that time, now 25K/- for a 12th GEN is a LOOT, just imagine a laptop without wifi, bluetooth, USB 1.1, no NVME, only one SATA port for unreliable HDD of size 20GB, IDE with DVD , as opposed to todays latest technology of USB 3.0, TYPE C, 12th GEN Cpu, WIFI, BLUETOOTH, NVME with SATA port, sleek design, less weight with a camera is a great great bargain....

Lol! Even Dell don't make same build quality laptops nowadays as their pre 2015/15 models while charging even more now & you expect acer to maintain same build quality. Consider yourself lucky if any brand laptop you buy nowadays survive more than 4-5 years without issues.

Agreed! Depends on the use-case and handling, i hv assaulted that laptop for atleast 5 years :)

You get what you pay for !
I found some performance and heating issues is my neighbor's laptop. Acer's basic laptops (aspire lite) may be avoided. Acer Swift and Nitro (gaming) is good to go.

They're alright but there have been cases where the laptop given in service was reported more damage than what was submitted

After 2020 do not expect any hardware, costly or cheap will survive for long, so better go with low cost, handel with utmost care and use till it give issue free performance.

Charge 80% and stop, again charge if battery low to 20%

Do not use while charging, if generate heat try every possible way to cool it down

PS: I was too wish to buy, but Flipkart increase it's price from 25k to 27k and i drop the plan

@Vagabond , @StygianClaw Please suggest OP your best about Acer Laptop

Never had Acer laptop, recent one I brought is of Lenovo... But all my friends have suggested about Acer being cheaper in market due to its poor build quality and average service compared to Dell/Lenovo.

@Aman1829 I bought the Aspire 3 A324-51 in the recent sale. I made a post about the laptop here. If you have any other doubts or things you want me to check, let me know. For this laptop, it costs 2.4k and 3.8k respectively for 1 year and 2 year standard warranty extension (Without any offers).

We also have a Acer Swift 3 SF314-512 in my house. It's 2 years old now and has been an absolute tank and a reliable workhorse. Had a Predator a few years back and the service experience was very good when it needed a mobo replacement. That laptop worked very well for years after that.

Generally any Onsite service is decent. I generally try to avoid leaving my laptops at service centers. My only bad experiences with service have been the instances where I had to submit the machine at a service center (Except for Apple).
