That was me when I found my status changed. Searched all over couldn’t find anything up front. Had to resort to using previous messages/chats to ask around what to do.
Got to know about the changes after this thread was created and a mod responded informing about it.
A pinned message about the current tiers and features will be extremely helpful.

Yeah. In general, a message should be sent to new members after email verification explaining the tiers and how they work to new joiners. Rn, everything is quite scattered. When I joined, I had to search alot to figure out how everything works.
For example, under classified, there is a pinned post about recruits not being allowed to post. However, there is no explainer as to what a recruit is and how members can be bumped. Welcome message should have a part about how tier works and what it takes to get promoted. IMO it will also boost engagement. I am sure a lot of new members may want to post in Classified, can't figure out how to post there and the tier system and just leave to never visit again.

But now the question is how do I proceed to message the person ?
As far as I understood, we have to message on the thread, but in my case, it shows "You have insufficient privileges to reply here."
Also read somewhere that for negotiations we must PM the seller or smth, but how do I dm them ? Is it going to be accessible to me as time passes, or we need to enable it from somewhere ?
I remember I wrote on the sale thread showing my interest to buy, but the message went under approval list (pending for moderator approval), and it was deleted with a notification saying Marketplce is closed to new members (my apologies I didn't see that beforehand that I was not supposed to text up in there)

Read all, but the pertinent sections are the last two. You're at Novice now. Market section will be accessible to you once you turn Disciple at least.
But that's no reason to start spamming to increase post counts. Mods can tell spamming from organic interactions. We haven't hired bots to determine that yet.
Or if you are willing, buy the Patron subscription and you will have market access.

Welcome onboard! There are a few things which were tweaked in the last few days so it might be confusing. You will be able to send PM to the users once you reach Novice. However I see you are already upto 18 posts. Just 7 more and you would be bumped up to Disciple which will open up the marketplace.

Mods, I am also having the "You have insufficient privileges to reply here." but it's for the Classified Section. Any explanation for this and I can't directly message a member?

I've seen a ssd on the marketplace that I would like to buy, but not sure if it would be available after 10-15 days
In this case, does taking a Patron subscription help ? Will it make me eligible enough for reaching the seller out ?

Yes, if you can't wait to get the Disciple rank organically, buy the Patron sub. It allows you to buy/sell and direct msg other members.

Not banned. Some members didn't qualify for market access, but still got access. That is fixed now.
I see you have joined in 2016, and have 0 post count (outside market).

I do have post here and there , attaching screenshot of few of them below .and sir would you please tell me how can i earn marketplace access.
Posts in Marketplace do not count.
Contribute in the other Tech sections to meet minimum post count or buy Patron tag.

i have posted threads in classifieds before but suddenly i get a message saying i dont have the privieges instead of create post. anyone know what this is about?
Rules were recently updated, you need to up your post count or upgrade your account to Patron.
