You can try changing the setting in BIOS from UEFI to legacy. It should work. Most newer systems come with UEFI as default but someone changed it and reinstalled the OS using legacy BIOS. Once the BIOS battery went down, it reset and it is now expecting a UEFI installed OS which is not on your hard drive.
