As the title says, I need suggestions for couriers with doorstep pickup in Delhi apart from Delhivery. For some reason, Delhivery has marked my pincode as temporarily unserviceable for the past 3 days. Are there any other alternatives at a similar price point?

Download dtdc app and book..
Use any nearby pincode from your home and just ask the executive when he calls to meet up if delhivery is your preferred courier.

Otherwise spend a bit, call up bluedart cc and book

Shiprocket.

It is a shipping aggregator for small businesses. Even individuals can use it.

It can be confusing in the beginning but once you get the grip of it, you fill find it very convenient.

In my experience, shipping is cheaper through shiprocket. It provides many choices from Ekart to Amazon shipping to many others. Strongly recommended.

Regards.

Delhivery has marked my pincode as temporarily unserviceable for the past 3 days.

This happens if the hub that services your pin code is inaccessible (road work) or overburdened with undelivered parcels (lack of manpower).

It usually is fixed in a week or three. Happens regularly with the one closest to me so I just go in person to book there or pickup, it's less than 1km away.

I had ordered a pick up almost a week back from Delhivery.

They haven't picked up and now when I try to cancel...it says money will not be refunded.

This is like a scam now.

So you don't pick up the order and then you ask customer to cancel the order but you refuse to pay back.

Their customer service is only raising ticket. Their response has also stopped coming.

Does anyone has customer care number?.
Their IVR is not getting me through to customer care.
They keep saying raise an issue and then we have raised the ticket.

No one has a customer care line, I think.

These startups are facing financial issues. The issue you are facing is being seen in other such services too.

Recently, Dunzo took an order and cancelled it fully by themselves. Then refunded 10% of the amount. Upon trying to reach the customer service, no human was to be found.

Delhivery is quite well established now.

It just wants to cut cost even if it leads to poor customer service.

They don't care.

It is so unethical of them to do this.
They are openly running a scam.

How easy it is to display tempting offers and then refuse to deliver and return the money.

Thanks for all the suggestions. The majority seemed to suggest Shiprocket so I'm giving that a shot.

I had a few questions though-

1. If I do the minimum wallet recharge of 500, can the balance go below that or do I need to maintain a minimum balance?
2. Is the manifest process necessary or can I skip it?
3. Are there any specific criteria you have when selecting couriers?
4. Anything else to keep in mind?

Try tagging them on twitter(X)
@solo_wing +1 for this suggestion. I have a Twitter account solely reserved for complaints (which makes the profile seem like it belongs to a miserable person) but it has surprisingly worked well with several companies where I couldn't get any response via official methods.

Yes, balance can go till 0 but not negative. It will not book if balance is notas per selection.
Don't know if manifest process is necessary but just do it. It doesn't hurts. U will get 2 things to print, the shipping label and manifest where u take sign from pickup guy so it works as proof.
No specific criteria, Choose as u like. But for Amazon shipping there is something very specific about the label size.
