Hi Everyone,

I have to move between houses these days and am looking for a small PC that I can carry with me in my laptop backpack. Both places have KVM setups.

Do not need much processing power. Something that can run Ubuntu LTS, firefox and thunderbird.

Could you guys suggest a mini PC that can take some abuse.

Thanks

Something like this should do the job
(Refurbished) Lenovo Thinkcentre Desktop Mini Pc (Intel Core I5 9th Gen | 16 GB DDR4 Ram| 512 GB SSD|WiFi|Windows 11|Ms Office) Black

this is.a solid choice with Vega 11 gfx

Both options are great.. Grab acc to budget.

Check out mini pcs from skullsaints (https://www.electroniksindia.com/collections/skullsaints) I am using one of it as a home server for more than a year, no issues.
They look like an importer of white labeled products. The Carbon, which would have been my choice, has the following note.

"Please be aware that Crucial DDR5 RAM is not compatible"

Implies 'no firmware updates' ever.

There are some interesing n100 options from more reputable companies

The height (22.9 x 17.8 x 10.2 Centimeters) would make it difficult to carry around. Though I am assuming this is a mistake. The height would be 1U (~4cm). It is most prob thinkcenter 720. Def worth considering.

Any idea if this will work with Linux?
