These after market batteries won't last as long as the oem. Half as long costing half as much going by my experience with the V20 which got retired a month back after getting the S23I see after market batteries for sale on Amazon and Flipkart but I am not sure if I can do it myself.
I haven't. Will check with them.Did you contact the service centre?
LG still provides service for their mobiles ? They got out of the mobile business some time back.Did you contact the service centre?
Should beAny idea what the shelf life of these batteries is? Even if they have any, wouldn't it be at least 2-3 years old.
Those will be same as the generics you get here. If you notice the label for generics matches that of batteries sold in the US.Will the after market batteries sold in US/Europe be any better?
Yes but the phone should be supported for at least 5 years. No harm calling and finding out.LG still provides service for their mobiles ? They got out of the mobile business some time back.
I'd pick up a spare battery or two if they still have them.in case you plan on holding onto the phone longerI had to go to that part of the town which has the main LG service center and walked in.
To my surprise, they still have a 'Mobile repair' counter. They have offered to replace the battery for Rs3080. Although the technician told me that it can't be done in any other service center, I will check with the one near my home.
Interesting solution. Did not know Flipkart and Urban Company offered battery replacement and installation services.Have you checked flipkart home assist? or urban company phone repair? They do source good quality batteries somehow
