Planning to use my LG CX 55" TV as Display for my New rig. Is it good idea?

This is only because my build with AMD 7900GRE is going above my budget and main concern is also place at home and my UPS is already plugged to PS5 and TV so I planned to use it alongside my PS5 only and can't spend more on speakers or other peripherals for now. I will manage it with old keyboard and mouse.

My question is since I have good OLED 4K 120Hz TV with HDMI 2.1 and looking to play mostly shooter games and story driven games as build is more towards fps performance, is it good idea not buying a Monitor at all and use it completely on a TV?

Let me know if you need more information.

You can

My friend uses his LG C9 as primary monitor for his gaming PC, it is almost 5 years old now. But his usage of PC for non-gaming stuff is almost 0. He uses his laptop for that. Get a 27" 1440p monitor later maybe, Acer XV272U V3 is under 16k on sale if you do stuff other than gaming on your PC.

Id only be using for watching movies/youtube and little bit of browsing. 90% will be only for gaming. My only concern was how do I use this on a Sofa or chair even if I add in a wireless KBM.
Been searching a comfortable product online and these really aren't available in India.

Lapgear Lapdesk

The closet one I see meeting our comfort is this one below on Amazon

https://amzn.in/d/9yDbtpI But even for this we need to consider a smaller 12x9 keyboard only for space constraints for a mouse

Build something custom from local carpenter, buy a big mousepad to accommodate wireless KB + mouse.

Considering your usage habits, it'll be fine. I'd still recommend being wary of burn-in when using it for regular PC tasks, take precautionary measures like setting the taskbar to auto-hide, dark mode in apps and dark wallpapers, sleep/screen off after a short while of idling, turning off HDR outside games/content and such stuff. Aside from that you're golden. Do try out some games with well-implemented HDR, like Doom Eternal, Cyberpunk and Ghost of Tsushima ;)

Yes I started using it and its great. Also, I aint going to worry about Burn in issues for LG Coz it's not the era of C7 or C8 . There is ABL, Low logo luminous adjustment, pixel refresher etc lot of features added to avoid those in newer TVs.
