2024 Online Game Deals - Steam, Amazon, Origin, GOG, Humble Bundles

Please let me know if there's any legit deal on Bioshock and Mass Effect series. And Borderlands 3.
Bioshock remastered is available on Prime gaming if you have it.

Any has idea on how much extra tax or charges we would be paying, if we buy a game through gog.com or similar portals that don't have India pricing?

How does it work? I need Prime to get the games at discount? What if my prime expires?

  • If you have amazon prime login to https://gaming.amazon.com/home
  • You get a list of free games available now.
  • You start to claim. Can be GOG, EPIC, Windows Store.
    • GOG will take you to your GOG account to login can claim ( Once claimed it gets added to your GOG account. Doesnt matter if you cancel prime afterwards)
    • EPIC account needs to be linked to amazon prime. Once claimed its auto added to your EPIC account
    • Windows store claim for Doom eternal was through windows store using a code redemption. (Doom Eternal was probably the best deal. Its gone now)
  • Once claimed game is added to your account in other platforms. Nothing to do with amazon after that.
I claimed 32 games on GOG till now. Never paid for a single game on GOG.

Wow that's nice. I don't use prime anymore so I had no idea such bonuses existed. Can you give us the names of those 32 games? Just curious.

Psychonauts 2 , an absolute no brainer at Rs.129
Can't recommend this game enough.

Mass Effect Andromeda at its lowest @ Rs.263
Lacks the intensity/quality of story of the trilogy but still has the best third person shooting mechanics imo.

Also, last opportunity to grab FH4 before it gets delisted.

This for price history.

I wanted to get the Yakuza Bundle on Steam but decided against it since 3,700 still feels high. I thought I'd only get Yakuza 0, which is currently 800 at a 45% discount. Steamdb says that it has previously been on sale for 60-70% off, so should I wait for the winter sale?

I'm also waiting for Nine Sols and Steamworld Heist II to drop further, although that will probably take much longer since they're relatively new.

Hitman: World of Assassination for INR 70 on Steam

Why not just subscribe to Game Pass for a month or two and binge-finish? All the Yakuza are on there.

It's actually INR 640 (or seemingly INR 1350 for the edition with the core expansion content inclued). That INR 70 thing is a 'Part One' edition, which I think might contain the contents of Hitman 1 from 2016. In itself, that might be a great deal, but it's not clear if it could be upgradeable to the complete version(s) without incurring additional costs over those editions.

Nine Sols has been added recently too so Game Pass could be an option for @Simarpreet Singh.

How often do these discount change during a sale season? Or do they remain the same?
Faber Anniversary lowest seems to be ₹115 way back in 2016. Current sale price is ₹384. It was ₹192 in the month of September. Just surprised that the sale season doesn't seem to match the non-sale season unless I'm mistaken.
