SUPERMAN TRAILER !

Thanks. Needed to know.
I never had any idea on these upcoming movies. Completely forgot about these new series. The hype and the confusion about these new cineverse is totally insane.
Excited to see Krypto, the Superdog.

You are not alone. They will keep making Superman every few years no matter what as long as people keep watching. I think he is a most overrated superhero who is absolutely terrified of dying when he listen about krypton.
I personally think this was peak..

Gunn understands comic books and superhero movies better than most other directors currently active. Guardians 3 didn't feel stale despite being third in a series. Peacemaker was such a sleeper hit and well made. This trailer looks visually so much better than the previous DC stuff, the colours are vibrant, there is enough light to distinguish them, the music is punchy, and then there is wacky stuff going that we can't connect dots for. This is everything a Superman movie should be.

My favourite part of it are the comic book accurate characters. There's no pressure to make things look "real" and in the process tone them down and take away all the fun.

I hope they also have a more brighter take on Batman too. I'm tired of perma-constipated heros.

Its vulnerability without making the whole movie depressing.

but the movies were average at best. reboot was a must, too much bad taste. Man of Steel was a financial loss for studio and basically all the movies in which Henry was Supes.
Yeah, only the casting was great. Everything else was meh. From characterization to the story themes, from pacing to visual elements, everything was badly handled. This is why it failed, it had nothing to appease the OG Supes fans or attract new gen Marvel fans. Now, Gunn will have to avoid a lot of good stories just to stand different from that mess, which is the main tragedy here.

I hope they stick to developing and covering Clark's story despite the number of superheroes or other characters in the film. They need to lay the groundwork for the character to make him connect with the audience. I am pretty hopeful as this movie is mostly based on All-Star Superman, which happens to be widely acclaimed, The Eisner Award winner, and one of my favorite Superman comics. The comic is set over a long period and the interviews suggest that the movie will follow a similar route.

I can't recommend this run enough if you are into reading comics. Please go read it.

All Star Superman is great. However if someone is going to read it, they need to be able to familiar with some niche DC stuff. Grant Morrison pulls from very obscure stuff from DC history.
