5070 being as powerful as 4090 is like saying pigs can fly but you have to put them on a plane first. Realistically it looks to sit near 4070ti (maybe "super" if you're not maxing out VRAM) level of performance.

They even said 4070 will be powerful than 3090 but forgot to mention with fake frames. Wait for benchmarks and don't assume or take their words just yet.
Whatever price seen in the launches are in USD and without taxes depending on the states in the US. In India, one can expect the end price of these products to almost get doubled with the inflated prices, import duties and taxes.

If we look at the specs, it's pretty safe to assume that the 5070 is going to be slower than the 4070S in pure raster performance. It may come close to 4090 numbers in very select titles with DLSS 4 using multi-frame generation and full RT on. Nvidia is using pretty much that one very limited scenario to give the title "4090 Performance" to its 5070.
Then why not buy a new 5070 by adding just 4k to your budget ? You get the full warranty and peace of mind.
But they are FE Cards. The cards made by other brands will be expensive.
