A new listing on the EEC website tells us Nvidia has three entry-level desktop GPUs lined up for launch. The GeForce RTX 5060 Ti has two variants, while the RTX 5060 has just one with 8 GB VRAM.

Even though Nvidia didn't officially show off the entire GeForce RTX 50 series at CES 2025, an earlier leak gave us a rough idea about what the lower end of the stack would look like. However, X leaker @Olrak29_ has discovered some jarring information about one of Nvidia's entry-level offerings: the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti.

On the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) website, there appear to be two variants of the graphics card - one with 8 GB VRAM and the other with 16 GB. Additionally, the regular GeForce RTX 5060 will only have one version with 8 GB video memory. Essentially, Nvidia wants to offer a cheaper RTX 5060 Ti variant for those who don't need the extra VRAM.

For now, little is known about the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti. It is rumoured to launch with a GB206 GPU on a PG152 board. Nvidia is expected to unveil it in March alongside its non-Ti counterpart, presumably around when AMD plans to show off the Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070. But, the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti aren't direct competitors because they'll square off against AMD's Navi 44-powered Radeon RX 9060 XT (tentative) and others.

We recently got a glimpse at how the GeForce RTX 5080 fares against its last-gen counterpart. There isn't much to write home about in terms of raw performance, and this will likely carry over to the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060. Gamers will have to, once again, rely on AI-powered shenanigans to get any meaningful performance uplift over Ada Lovelace.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Comes In 180W TBP With 16 GB Launching First In Late March Followed By 8 GB In April​

NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GPUs will target mainstream gamers and will be offered in both 16 GB and 8 GB flavours.

Following our report from December (2024), we now have more information on NVIDIA's plans for the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GPUs. The 5060 Ti will be the next card to enter the market after the 5070 and will be aimed at the mainstream gaming segment around the $400-$500 US price points.

Starting with the details, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti will utilize the "PG152" board which would presumably deploy the GB206 GPU core. There will be two variants, one "SKU 10" and one "SKU 15" for the RTX 5060 Ti series. The difference is that the first model is a 16 GB variant while the second model will feature 8 GB VRAM.

Both NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GPUs will stick to a 128-bit memory bus interface which is similar to the current generation RTX 4060 Ti. As for the memory, both of these cards will feature a GDDR7 memory interface, allowing for up to 28 Gbps frequencies. The GDDR7 memory interface would net a total of 448 GB/s of bandwidth, which is 55% higher than the RTX 4060 Ti and 65% higher than the RTX 4060. That's a decent gain in the bandwidth specs which would be coupled with Blackwell's advanced memory compression techniques that would help overcome the 128-bit bus interface.

In terms of power, both NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GPUs will have a rated TBP of 180W, which is 20W higher than the RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB and 15W higher than the 16 GB RTX 4060 Ti. The cards will come in both 8-pin and 12V-2x6 variations. As for the expected launch timeframe, the RTX 5060 Ti series is going to be introduced in the second half of March and this would be the 16 GB model as the 8 GB model will launch later, in the first half of April.

The launch was initially going to take place earlier, but due to supply woes, the launch of various GPUs from the green team had to be delayed.

There's no concrete word on pricing, but we can expect it in the same price range as the RTX 4060 Ti series. The RTX 5060 series will also be competing against AMD's RDNA 4-based RX 9000 GPUs such as the RX 9060 series, so that should be an interesting competition.

NVIDIA Planning Entry-Level GeForce RTX 5050 8 GB GPU, RTX 5060 8 GB Hits Retail In April​

NVIDIA is preparing entry-level & mainstream options for gamers with its upcoming GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5050 series graphics cards.

A few days ago, we reported the launch plan of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, which will come in 16 GB and 8 GB flavors. Now, we have some new information on more entry-level products such as the GeForce RTX 5060 and the GeForce RTX 5050.

As per our information, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 will use the "PG162 SKU 25" PCB, and will come equipped with a maximum of 8 GB memory. The RTX 5050 will have a rated TBP of 145W and is said to launch in April. Do keep in mind that the RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB models will also launch in April, but during the first half, while the RTX 5060 8 GB cards will most likely arrive in the second half of April.

But there's more: NVIDIA is also said to be preparing the GeForce RTX 5050, which is going to be positioned in the entry-level price segment. If the RTX 5060 retails for around $299 US, then we can expect the RTX 5050 to end up somewhere between the $199-$249 US price tag. This card will be positioned against the Intel Arc B580, which is a strong contender in this segment, while future AMD offerings may also spice things up in the sub-$300 US market.

Based on what we have seen, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 features 8 GB of memory and will be rated at a TBP of 145W. This information is still a bit early, but the card is said to be rated at a TBP of 135W, which is 10W lower than the RTX 5060 8 GB. There's no information on the specific GPU or PCB yet, but we will make sure to keep you updated. As for the launch, the RTX 5050 is also aiming for an April release plan and may come in either Non-Ti or Ti branding.

Well-known insider, MEGAsizeGPU, also posted about the launch plan of the GeForce RTX 5060 series and states that while the announcement will take place in about 10 days, the actual launch will be scheduled for next month.
