Hello again everyone! I am building a pc for a good friend of mine which is fairly efficient and low power gaming pc. The specs are below

intel i5 12400f
Rtx 3050 8gb
256gb NVMe SSD
1tb sata SSD
(200-300 WATT, total system power consumption)

So i am looking to buy a efficient yet durable power supply unit, possibly between 550 to 650 watts.

I have my personal picks of coolermaster mwe 550 watt bronze v3 and deepcool pm650d gold 80plus at 1k rs more.

Can you give me suggestions which one should i go for, is paying extra for deepcool worth it? Or would you suggest me other model/brand PSU?

Mwe v3 isnt on PSU tier list yet, but pm650d is a B tier PSU and Mwe v2 is a B tier PSU.

Check with this SPL's PSU Tier List once. Here is the link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...JWkc/edit?pli=1&gid=1973454078#gid=1973454078
I think PM650D & MWE v2 are B Tier PSU's even though 1st one is Gold rated while 2nd one is Bronze Rated.
So go with either one. Be specific about CM MWE v2 only when buying it. Okay. Or else go with Deepcool PM650D. Okay.

Avoid the MWE 550 V3 Bronze (230V) unit, specifically. That's tier C. The full voltage range one is fine, and is tier B

Is the full voltage range one even available in india?

No clue; you will likely have to call ahead and confirm with whom you decide to purchase from.

EDIT: Vishal seems to have it, so yes, it's available in India.

What is the difference between the coolermaster mwe 230v and full range one? Our home electricity stays within 200-240v, will it be a problem?
that particular mwe v3 one seems to have had some issues. (seems like they tried to pull off Palm oil for india and good or no oil for foreign countries move, just a pun/analogy)
mwe v2 is fine for the stuff you want to run right now.
full range means can handle 110v/120v to 240v range.
but like others like i would like to recommend psu which supports atx 3.0/3.1 regulations.

I don't understand, what issues are there for the v3 one to be precise? v3 has atx 3.1 support as i have seen on the vishal peripheral site
None of PSU are available in india. Only the bad ones are here. Or they are out of my 5k rs budget..

According to SPL's PSU Tier List Deepcool PM650D 650W 80 Plus Gold Power Supply is good. Go with this.
I went with Cooler Master MWE Bronze 750w v3 @ 6.5k recently as I dont have much budget to buy Gold rated PSU's.

At 4-5k

I would recommend you 2 psu and I'm using one of them

First is
msi mag A650BN
650 watt psu bronze rated and comes with 5 years of warranty

Get this from Vedant it will cost u less (4.6k inr)

And 2nd one is

Asus tuf 550B (the one I'm using rn)
550W psu also bronze rated comes with 6 years of warranty and has zero noise technology means fan will not spin if u r consumption of power is less and it has pretty sturdy design coz it comes up with military rating protection it's pretty good to be honest

U can buy it from Elitehubs (4.4k inr)

But if u have lil more money go for 650W model of this psu it will cost u 5.3k inr

U can also go for NZXT psu they also make good psu

Hope u find them helpfull

Thank you for suggesting! Asus Tuf looks nice also its a tier B psu which is amazing for the price.

I have also researched myself and came with another Gold rated tier B psu,
Antec Neo Eco NE650G

How is this one?

Is there any Bronze Rated 750watts PSU which is B Tier? Any links also very appreciated because I am a little bit worried about my present CM MWE Bronze 750watts V3 PSU. Should not cost more than 6k.

But both are out of stock in both sites.
Here it's available but I never bought from this site. Is it trustable? Anybody from TE bought from these guys? The above Deepcool PM750D is priced at 6.2k here. Probably I should have bought from these fellows in the 1st place before buying CM 750w V3 PSU. I was in a hurry and I made a mistake.
