The rules aren't sacred texts that are open to interpretation. They're clear and inviolable. They exist for a reason and there's absolutely no exceptions whatsoever.
You wanted to keep the option open for you return this item to PrimeABGB? Then you forfeit the option of trying to sell it on this forum. It's as simple as that.
Another forum, reddit, or OLX would be better in such a case — you would've known this if you really weren't new.
