31-40k I am in Dilemma! Should I upgrade my Present PC to AMD AM4 or AM5 or Intel LGA 1700 chipsets? Budget is limited to 40k

The seller isn't accepting to 7600 for 15k & 6000Mhz CL36 ram for 7k
He says that he bought them for 19k & 11k respectively.
I also found the same CL36 32GB 6000Mhz ram present price at 7k and 7600 present price at 17.7k
When I told him this he said to buy from there only.
He is also not showing the invoice but says that parts are 4 months old. Not even photos he is showing.

Seems a little sketchy, why don't you just order online?

Nah, man, walk away. Too many red flags. Get everything new. Peace of mind without much of a price difference.

Some people get emotional about their purchase price, ignoring current market price + need some discount on top of that for used products.
Purchase price probably should be irrelevant, but buyers might get emotional too if purchase price was lower than current market/selling price.

Same shit happens in stock markets :)

Buy new parts yourself. CL36 RAM is anyways not optimal. 20k new B650 is overpriced, forget used. You can build an equivalent new rig with better RAM for a similar price that the seller is expecting to sell his used parts for.

What have you decided?

I think for you scenario upgrade the base system first and then gpu since you have an unstable system. I would suggest AMD over intel now and personally I would go with 9800x3d and wait till you budget allows for it. As for GPU I don't think you need to change it immediately and wait till the issues wiuth the new Nvidia and AMD cards gets sorted out and the availability and prices are stable.

Normally I would suggest to get a 5800x3d if you can find one or a 5700x3d and only focus on getting better gpu but since your mobo or cpu seems to be an issue it is better to upgrade the base system first.

What have you decided?
Seller said that he will sell at 8% less than his purchased prices and those are actually higher than present prices and when I asked for 22k for both CPU & RAM he said he cannot sell at these prices but he wants 26.5k for both.
Just now the seller offered to sell for 24k for both. Like 16k for CPU & 8k for CL36 RAM kit.

cl36 ram https://pcpricetracker.in/gen/products/bbdf4085412dbd4ef587120e2cedd18d at 8k
7600 new cpu at 17700rs

Isnt the flare better than ripjaws for AMD builds because they are optimised and pre-programmed for AMD EXPO ?
idk what you mean by optimized.... (aisa kya secret formula ka use horaha hai, its just branding) ,
- unless they have different hardware they are quite the same, if not then exactly the same. though some would have to manually set the settings like you mentioned.
( can be found on pdfs of G.skill and QVL on mobo site )

then again even normal xmp values work too from bios for amd.
- its more or less a stamp of approval/tested ok from G.skill. (f you corsair btw).

( well if difference between non-stamped and stamped is this low then hell ya go for stamped version )

sell your GPU jump onto higher vram GPU and get a good cpu cooler instead of upgrading CPu board i would say increase GPU /Resolution /Refresh rate
Upgrading the GPU without having a stable PC is not nice because due to A520M not having any VRM heatsinks & is bare minimum board coupled with 5600x is giving crashes, BSODs & freezes because both AMD & MS stopped giving updates to both CPU & Mobo. This gave rise to above problems I said and when I see the event viewer for error codes, I have to disable secure boot and TPM to stop 1 error and do tweaks to stop another error.

So 1st I thought going with Intel & nvidia but many suggested that going with either AMD & Radeon or AMD & nvidia is my best option for the future.

I have a 2k monitor and 6600XT is not at all sufficient but I have to upgrade main components then go to others. I even bought a new PSU in Jan.

So looking for best prices for

AMD Ryzen 5 7600,
MSI B650M Gaming Wifi,
ADATA XPG Lancer Blade 16GBx2 6000Mhz CL30 kit.

Then when present prices & stock becomes stable I will upgrade my GPU.

As a seller he has quoted his rates, as a buyer you have sent your rate. Did not match . Leave it. There is no need for you to justify your asking rates , neither seller has to justify his selling rate.
Just move on or find some seller who can sell at your wanted rates.

I experienced buyers remorse when I bought 5700x3d when it launched in India. Bought it for 24k something and after like 2 months it went down to 20k and then even down to 19k a few months afterwards. Buying new PC components or any electronics in general is always subject to high depreciation due to how fast the technology is advancing.

A520M motherboards are perfectly fine running 5600x processors and more. They should run almost every supported processors to their full potential except the higher end ones (so 5900x, 5900XT and 5950x). Must be something wrong with your motherboard specifically.

Maybe but I saw similar error queries in AMD, MS & Reddit forums for solutions and they all were saying that older gen processors are getting problems coupled with same gen motherboards. My PC crash is related to Azure server cannot get authentication because of AMDfTPM for some older motherboards and if so called users use stand alone TPM then then the problem is solved.
My other crash is due to the motherboard C States. I disabled it and somehow one problem got solved. Normally it comes enabled by default.

One AMD forum moderator was saying that as AM4 processors age they tend to cause problems like in the case of one user who has 3800X with X570 motherboard he has same problem like me with Azure server and while he changed his processor the problem went away. So AM4 CPU with compatible motherboards were causing problems for some after certain period of usage not when they were new.

PS: I underclocked my processor but my A520M does not have more options like curve optimiser as such. So now crashes have gone down but not much. If I change my motherboard now it will cost 10k then want to have 32GB RAM so adding this means another 4k.
When I 1st thought of changing all three parts like CPU,Mobo, RAM to 5700x3d, B550M wifi Mobo, 32GB RAM all are amounting to around to 37k same amount as any new AM5 Combo. So that's why I asked about what to buy.
