Other What’s the Best Screen Protector for Your Precious Phone? Spigen, ESR, or Local?

I need your wisdom! I just got a new phone (and you know how that feels), so now comes the nerve-wracking part, choosing the right screen protector.

I’m torn between grabbing a brand-name one like Spigen or ESR or just getting a local one that might be cheaper but who knows about quality. Are the premium ones really worth the price, or do local ones do just as good of a job?

What screen protector do you use on your phone, and how’s it holding up? Any brands or hidden gems I should check out? Help me keep my screen scratch-free!
 
I'm using spigen screen guard for my iPhone. It has been a good experience. Spigen has been for several years and has been making great stuff, but little costly too.

But I've selected this spigen screen guard by seeing drop test videos and comparing their results. That's the benefit of getting universally popular ones, so that even if Indian youtubers ignore it to test, we get to see others testing it.

Whats the difference between this and the align master one on their site? which one you got

I'm guessing both are of same material/strength (screen guard). The difference lies in that alignment item they gave for installation so that it is easier for user to install it himself instead of going to shop.

I have that "this" model and it was easier to fix with that. Didn't try the align master model.

Since it is spigen and iphone, you can find reviews or drop tests videos on youtube.

I use a local matte finish tempered glass.. Been using those for about three years (changed multiple times over those 3 years) on my current device (Mi 11x). It has seen multiple falls, including a brutal one, while I was driving, and only 1 crack on the screen glass.. The touch and display everything else is fine.. So I am very confident that a local one is fine..
PS: I wasn't using a case, so maybe that added to the impact that my screen got.
 
Get a local matte screen protector for summer, if your phone have in-display fingerprint sensor than get a membrane, it will response faster, though a case is must for membrane.

I use whatever cheap brand amazon offers since it doesn't make that much of difference personally. But the phone cover I use is from Spigen so there is that.
 
Invest in a phone cover, buy a sturdy one
In my experience all screen protectors have similar life, all get scratched or nicked within months.. Hence I always get the cheapest 20 rs or 30rs one for all phones in the household and get them changed after 3 to 4 months

For my iphone is use tech21 case imported from the US and they are really awesome

I use mostly tech21 and spigen TP covers but i won't suggest Rs 20-30 glass, anything between Rs 70-150 will be more durable.

When I bought my Realme 11 Pro(curved screen) + I ordered a Poppio Screen protector from Amazon for 600. While it broke on top right because of my kid dropping it to floor I bought local ones for 600 each for 3 times and now I am tired of buying a new screen protector because I also have a phone case that I use. Even my wife bought a screen protector from Poppio for her Poco F6 and it has already cracked diagonally.

When samsung launched a curved phone(S7), i bought it in excitement, that was my 1st and last curved phone anyone had in my family, applying a screen protector is so hard and it cracks on a little impact.

Yes exactly. I also vowed never to buy a curved screen now because just like you I bought in excitement.
