Let him have his fun. Only a matter of time until someone shows up at his house.

His pictures will also be up here, soon.

Kid, if you're that brave, why don't you reply here with your third-rate and cheap attacks (like the way you respond to women hiding behind the Internet) during the day, Instead of in the middle of the night, like a slimy, gonad-less little shit.

Some of the scams (assuming it's the same guy)

Yes this is the mahendra singh i talked about

People pay small change to buy Plus membership and bypass forum restrictions, and then do fraud. This has happened atleast twice.
I think as part of this, there should be some identity proof check as well. Or atleast don't allow higher value items from being sold until he has posted enough.

Otherwise, the same guy might keep committing fraud by taking breaks in between without any fear of repercussions.

This is a great idea, I think. You should post it to the thread where mods are asking for feedback on the site, if you haven't already.

Sad. Scammers like this one upset the entire marketplace. I hope someone can track him down.
Reminds me of the one time i got scammed on OLX. This guy said he was a big blogger, shared me links to his site. We agreed on 15k for my GTX 970. As soon as he received, he said it wasnt working and blocked me.

Well i agree to this. There should be a system where genuine sellers should be able to prove their credentials.

Final Sunday bump
Will take it off sale if unsold by today

If interested, Please DM your offers by evening today
Check this. Any genuine seller wont be this desperate. You got your first red flag here. Hes trying to make it seem the deal is too good to last long.
He basically baited that guy into buying the GPU. My suggestion to everyone here is this. Call the guy up first. Get his phone number. Also maybe aadhar and PAN showing the permanent address. Then ask them to share pics with address stamp using GPS app. Its very hard to scam when all these checks are in place.

For all we know scammers have already made accounts here and left them alone for years to make them "old" before they use them to start scamming.
yeah, but its a lot more involved than just creating an account. It takes atleast some time and effort which will filter out some of the scammers.
The 5080 guy for instance has account since 2020, but he is still not eligible and had to buy plus.

Even an established guy can decide that he is done with TE and decide to scam before leaving. So there is that :)
