I think it's a bit of both nostalgia and feeling like its a low budget re-watch because I feel like they are running out of fresh ideas, this is easily confirmable by their decision to make a sequel to their USS callister episode. yeah, i agree.
The head thing was also very very repetitive.
Also game world getting mixed with irl .. again repetitive.
Episode 1 was low hanging fruit to hit everyone hard.. and they did go hard with that that ending.
People can relate to subscription/evil corp/expensive healthcare.. there you go, episode 1 has everyone taking.. oh it's black mirror..!
but not much daring afterwards.

And yeah, I like Michael when he is vulnerable and child-like, and I actually like Carell a lot, his acting is what makes me want to sit through it. I can see I am contradicting myself here a bit, but I like child-like Michael, I hate watching cringe Michael when he makes it uncomfortable for everyone else. It is what it is.

I love Community and Parks and Rec (after S3). The cringe factor played by Pierce in Community or Tom/Aziz in PnR are peripheral and somehow easily ignored.

I never got past watching more than a couple of episodes of season 1 of The Office. The shaky camera and fast panning was enough to trigger a headache and feeling of vertigo that I stopped watching it.

Two episodes so far!

Black Mirror is one rare series which delivers season after season. May be one episode stories as a format is working for them, but to come up with so many stories and deliver them consisitently is no mean feat.

Sometime I think BM and True Detective S1 kinda shows should be banned. They raise the bar so high, we feel disappointed when warching other decent content! :)

Yup. Seem Warhammer one many times. Heck, it led me to read Warhammer comics and see the entire gameplay of recent Space Marines on YouTube.

The Studio and Family and Friends are new ones which carry the ATV quality.
 
Bosch Legacy Season 3 : Not as good as the other seasons but still good enough. The tying up of the unsolved was a little too trivial.
Sad that it ends but happy that Titus will reprise the role in Ballard even though it will be small. I will miss Crate and Barrel.

Just now finished watching the last episode of S07 of Black Mirror - USS Callister: Into Infinity.

Was not expecting that ending... whew! Jesse Plemons, Cristin Milioti and Jimmy Simpson were fantastic! I actually went back and re-watched the OG episode from S04 (USS Callister) before watching this to have the full experience! :D

Now after watching it a thought popped up in my head and I need to know something...

When Robert Daly in OG episode 1 (from Season 4) was alive and playing as a character in the game from his apartment he was playing the Captain of the USS Callister. Now at that exact time we can also come to the conclusion after watching the recent episode 'Into Infinity' that the Heart also contained a cloned version of Robert Daly (in his garage) right? So, at the point when Daly was in his ship and simultaneously in the Heart... were there 2 clones of Robert Daly in Space (one on the USS Callister and the other stuck in the Heart) functioning independently of each other? This is a little confusing!
