OC & Modding RAM Over clocking Failed.

@ Sumon ,I guess your write, but I will not overclock the 620 any more if it could damage my Motherboard as they say. And you also said be careful. The maximus is too nice to fry. :-) So you think 1,65v will be fine for board, dont rely care about the 620.

OC & Modding RAM Over clocking Failed.

I must admit I was wrong with the Voltages, found a discussion on this: Posted: Mon Jan 10, 2011 6:42 pm From intel datasheets: Image [attachment=9823:16604.attach] http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=18190523&postcount=103" Right guys myself and our technical guys have...

OC & Modding RAM Over clocking Failed.

OH, by the way, I would not use OC software, as they always tend to up the Voltages to high for my liking. You may use it and write down what the changes where but drop the voltages. Ram manually set the frequency to 1866 and start with 1,575v, should boot. And then bring the voltage down...

OC & Modding Some Overclocking FUN and GAMES, Guess what!?

Well I think I have to give it to devvfata1ity. Sorry Sumon, so devv that was a easy one, have a god one for us? But remember, they should be riddles that have happened to one´s self. As for my rams, they where able to do 2133 mhz 9-10-9-26 @ 1,65v max!! which I find very poor OC and to go...

OC & Modding RAM Over clocking Failed.

My opinion is: there is no use in buying any ram kit´s above 1600mhz 9-9-9-21 configuration, for me this setup is the sweet spot, unless you want that every little bit for highest score. In Game, if lucky 1-2 frames difference. My opinion though. :-)

    OC & Modding heating issue

@ nitink What would be good too, is if you could write down your voltages and what software you are using to read the temps. The problem you are having could just be something small. Also how much thermal grease are you using when you mount your heat sinks. And always check for proper seat...

    OC & Modding heating issue

I must back Suman up, like I said earlier, I also think it to do with air flow or as Suman puts it, bad mounting or maybe very bad thermal grease. And pictures will defiantly help.

    OC & Modding heating issue

Hi I think its to do with air flow, check that it is not "over corners" sucking any sort of heat in to the card. Or hopefully not, the thermal adhesive has not properly been put on or heat-sink is not on properly. Have had this problem once.

OC & Modding TE SuperPi 1M Battleground!

Hello i´m new here, but like the discussions going on. Thought I should ad a real Intel G 620 to the list, tuck some time to get there though. Sadly I can´t seem to ad a picture here, will soon my 1M score was 13,962 @ 2802,5 Mhz. The worst thing was getting the Bclk stable!! Cpu ran no...
