I think so you would need to go to customer care center and apply for plan change and the new plan will take effect from 1st of next month.

With Reliance there is no FUP its true unlimited connection they don't throttle torrents, they give connection via normal ADSL with phone and also via ethernet if you have the option of ethernet go for that but then you would not get a phone line.

I would highly recommend against Beam the quality sucks go for reliance wired broadband they have both 1 Mbps and 2 Mpbs unlimited plans.

I personally have Canon 550D and the 1000D I would leave the Sony out coz with a DSLR you need to buy lenses and with Canon and Nikon you can all the lenses you want, but I am not that sure about Sony. If you are just into photography and not interested into video then 1000D is a good option...

Yes the speeds are very bad on Holidays and evenings, guess every one logs on and BSNL 3G goes for a toss....... I get good speeds but only very late in the night around 2 AM and early mornings (4 - 5 Mbps) rest of the time I am lucky if I am touching 512kbps.

MTNL must have changed some thing coz in late Nov 2010 I was using 3G Sim from Hyderabad in Mumbai without any problems on the MTNL 3G Dolphin network, I did not even have to change the APN it was bsnlnet.
