I am getting Q9300 with extra $50, is it worth to invest that much extra money in processor or should I invest more in MOBO's so that future upgrades of memory, graphics crds and even of processor are no problem.

Well!!! i wanted to keep my upgradability rather expandability options open in near future... but seems like i will not be able to do so... cuz MOBO's are costly and not a good MOBO's with 2 PCIe 16x slots are available here in Nehru place... thanx guyz for all ur help!!!

and if intel doesn't support SLI shud i go for ATI crossfire.. but again ATI has been aquird by AMD... so what support for Intel chipsets i can expect in future...

yup there are no games on Linux... but i would need to run Linux for few of other things... some developement projects... and in any case i would like to have no such hurdles like i can't run linux etc... if i am spending some 40-50K!!!
