    The reviewer literally says it doesn't happen for daily tasks. He just compared m1 vs m2 air. And m2 clearly scores less than m1 after sustained loads. If person is gaming on windows there should definitely be fans, for productivity and light coding it should be fine.

    Fanless design makes m2 onwards Macbook air throttle. Pro still has fan. Not sure if systems with x elite would be fanless. Maybe with x plus.
