This watch is only selling cheap cause of the upcoming G watch R. This is just stock clearance I guess. Btw gear 1 is still locked to Samsung I guess. You could install a modified apk and get most functionality on any android phone (4.3+) but stuff like alarms and fitness app still won't work...
