Not too sure about this, but I believe you have to put the car in Neutral/Park or even without the accelerator it'll roll forward slightly in Drive.

For the kind of applications I doubt it. Not a bad upgrade though, as an X6 1055T users I can assure you the chip overclocks very well too so you can extract quite a lot of performance from it. Power consumption would be the only issue though.
