I have a gen1/2 chrome cast that has been lying idle for years. Used for a few days mostly. Then got TV with inbuilt chromecast.

Anything similar to Otterbox, but mainly otterbox, since the plastic covering the charging area has cracked after 3 years of use - while protecting the phone like a champ on several falls. Hence prefer to use the best 2+ layer protection available for preserving for a couple of more years...
