it will - it fits my oneplus 6 with otterbox with ease and space to spare.

let me measure the maximum open dimensions this weekend and update on the maximum phone width supported

there appears to be about 1cm of space wider than a bare OnePlus 6 - so I guess it would support 85mm wide phones with ease.
