My HTC Sensation locks on within 30 seconds. Much better than my previous Desire.

Certain apps like widgets, live wallpapers etc have to be installed to internal memory. Same goes for system apps. Updates to Market, Gmail, Maps, Facebook et all will be in internal memory. Other apps and games can be 'moved' to sd card. But still some data remains in internal memory.

Do keep in mind that internal storage is only 320mb which will limit the number of apps and games that you can install. I really dont understand why SE keeps giving paltry memory in their andriods. Even Arc and Arc S have 320mb.

The Sensation XE differs from the Sensation only in the Beats audio. The CPU is clocked at 1.5ghz and RAM is 1gb (if I am not mistaken). I believe the CPU is same in both phones but is underclocked to 1.2ghz in Sensation. Custom ROM's on xda enable overclocking it to 1.5ghz. The Beats audio...

It will fill the screen completely but the picture will look weird. If you run a game at any resolution less than the monitor's native resolution, the picture will look stretched / distorted. Why do you want to run games at lower resolution?

I use MyBackup Pro for backup / restoration of apps and data everytime I flash a new ROM on my HTC Desire. You could try it. A backup made from recovery mode, backs up everything. The ROM, your apps, their data, settings everything.
