    11" - 12" Laptop/Netbook

Hi guys, I am interested in buying a 11" - 12" screen size range laptop/netbook. The size I am really interested in is 12" but a little smaller/littler larger will do if the other specs are good. Light weight is extremely important. Min 2gb RAM would be preffered. AMD/Intel both are fine...

PC Peripherals PC shuts down while playing games

Definitely sounds like a psu problem. The only other possibility is the RAM. Run memtest to rule out that. I think the gigabyte 460 retails for roughly 2k, but I am sure that other members will be able to suggest a better option for you.

Monitors urgent: Best 22/24-inch monitor for under Rs.30k?

I have the dell u2410. My usage is watching movies and a bit of photoshop etc. I think its the best monitor by far for this purpose. As buBleZ mentioned, you need an IPS panel monitor for high end photgraphy etc. However, you also plan to game a reasonable amount and the flipside to IPS...

    PC Peripherals PSU Recomendation

I understand that calculators will only give you a rogh estimate. But i have read in various places that you need to add 20-30% to actual requirment if you plan on using your power supply for a long period(more than 1year). I have nothing against the VX450. It is the unit I used when building...

    PC Peripherals PSU Recomendation

I appreciate the feedback. However, according to eXtreme Outer Vision - eXtreme tools for computer enthusiasts, i need a minimum of 460W for my current configuration. Since I dont plan to buy a power supply every year, I would like to get one which has a reasonable margin for future upgrades...

    PC Peripherals PSU Recomendation

Hi, I am looking to change my old crappy PSU out and finally have the resources to do so. What I would like is a good 80+ modular PSU rated above 600w. The 80+ rating is a must, the modular feature is not quite as important. Any help with which make/model as well as where to buy would be much...

CPU/Mobo Looking for an AMD DDR3 Mobo

Thanks for all the inputs guys. Decided on the Asus m4a785td-v evo. Stavan, from a purely graphics pov, the 790gx is a better chipset than the 785g, but for movies etc, 785g wins over the 790gx due to uvd2 which puts lesser loads on cpu. Prices can be found at various places on the net as well...

Sathya, I believe the GD70 is based on the 790FX norhtbridge. I am looking for a mobo with integrated graphics, which rules that out.

CPU/Mobo Looking for an AMD DDR3 Mobo

Naveen, can you please elaborate why it is a better choice than the 2 MSI boards I have listed. The 790 based board is in the same price range while the MSI 785 board is ~1500 cheaper, which is a reasonable amount of money.

CPU/Mobo Looking for an AMD DDR3 Mobo

Thanks for the input sathya. I had checked out that board, but the review at Biostar TA790GX A3+ Review - Motherboard Reviews - TrustedReviews kind of put me off it. I know that it is good for unlocking, but that is not as important a criteria as overall quality and performance of the board...
