My board came with BIOS updated to support the 3000 series, but still needed BIOS updates to support the 4650G. I have the same board.

Try contacting local gigabyte service, they might be able to help out.

Not sure about the power in USB ports. I think you will need an older cpu/gpu or apu to be able to update the BIOS.

Did you update the BIOS? The board probably didnt come with the bios needed to support the 4650G.

I havent used the TM30 myself, but either of them will do the job just fine I guess. Do keep an eye out on the CPU temps, I have the same APU mobo combo + Noctua L9i chromax, and it can barely keep it under check with the Summers approaching.
