Still using my SBS370 from 2008 and it still sounds great. But its not just Creative, I've noticed a real lack of good 2.1 desktop speakers in the market right now. Its all either cheap pos RGB speakers or very expensive(>10k) audiophile stuff.

Hi, I didn't have a spare board to check but this board had been having intermittent starting issues for some time even back when I was using a different processor. Its my guess that the intermittent issues just became permanant. I am giving a testing warranty in any case.
