    Cheap GPU

Hey, thanks for the offer but based on what I've read, its like a Quadro version of a GT 210 which is a bit worse than the HD 3000 in my 2500k. Looking for something better than that. Also, price is a bit high man. I was getting a 9800 GT for 749 last week (was delayed and someone else bought...

    51-70k Looking for a occasional gaming/workstation pc

Yeah you're right. I thought you could go higher on B250 boards but I see they only go upto 2400mhz so yes it would be a waste of money.

    51-70k Looking for a occasional gaming/workstation pc

@nac Wait, based on the results in the video I linked to above, wouldn't a locked chip actually be the one who benefits more from higher frequency ram compared to an unlocked one? You can oc an unlocked chip to increase performance whereas faster ram is probably the only way to gain additional...

    Cheap GPU

Hi, looking for a dirt cheap GPU. Just need it as a temp backup so cheaper the better. Basically anything better than a HD 3000 igpu with driver support for Win 10 will do. Let me know. Thanks.

    51-70k Looking for a occasional gaming/workstation pc

I would pick a GPU based on the monitor you want to get and your budget especially if you'll be getting one within the next 6 months. If you are looking to go with a Freesync monitor, your choice is straightforward. If not, the 1060 6gb would serve you well too. You should be fine with either...

FS: Motherboard [SOLD] New in-box Intel DZ68AF Motherboard in warranty

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/21913/BIOS-Update-PLZ6810H-86A-?product=61254 Last bios update is dated 10/11/2011 so the bios on the board is probably already the latest version. The second para under Detailed Description is an interesting read.

FS: Motherboard [SOLD] New in-box Intel DZ68AF Motherboard in warranty

Instead of assuming stuff, maybe you should have checked the ram compatibility list for the board first. OP has clearly mentioned the mobo has issues with his ram sticks and he doesn't have spare ones to test. Even I called the ebay seller to confirm whether my ram would work. Nothing wrong...

FS: Motherboard [SOLD] New in-box Intel DZ68AF Motherboard in warranty

Seems the board doesn't like certain ram modules or sticks faster than 1333mhz. My 1333mhz sticks (Kingston and Crucial) seem to work fine in dual channel though.

Graphic Cards gtx 970 or 480 (4 gb)

Go with the 480/470. There was a noticeable gap between the 480 and the 1060 when they were new but that no longer seems to be the case according to comparisons done towards the end of 2016. Its well known that Amd cards age better. Just google Amd fine wine technology and you'll get the...

Interesting. Got the same board. When you say does not like, what was the issue exactly? What's the speed of your sticks?

WTB Graphics Card fitting my spec 750 TI, 1050TI, RX 470

Like the other posters mentioned, sure a 750ti would suit your needs but man, would it be a mismatch with the rest of your hardware. CX750 and HAF 912 and...a 750ti :p Anyway I have a GPU that might fit your description. Pm me if interested.

WTB Graphics Card fitting my spec 750 TI, 1050TI, RX 470

Bit confused. If you aren't a gamer and don't have any intentions of playing games any time soon, why did you get all this stuff? Cause this looks like a gaming build to me. For instance, that PSU is powerful enough to drive every single GPU out there and many multi GPU configs so I don't quite...
