i get Bad Soft Shadows on the ozone3d shadows benchmark.. With ATi HD 4850 and AMD Phenom ii x2 550 BE 3.1 ghz, 2gb RAM Win xp sp3. the shadows look like a grid of rows and columns.. is this normal ? i get the same thing in the game GRID.

thats not true.. hd 4850 gives playable frame rates at high.. i saw in youtube videos and reviews.. at very high it gives 25 and lower fps..

i have latest 9.12 drivers.. how to install in vga mode??

the rocks , boulders.... are bad to look at.. and even the trees , background is not so good... there is considerable texture pop in.. with FPS drops. i get 20 - 25 fps during fights 25- 40 fps normal .. @ HIGH settings ... its not playable during fights and explosions.. my hd 4850 with AMD...

i jus installed tom clancys hawx and it gives 100 fps at all settings maxed with 8xAA@ 1440 x 900 .. :):) directx 9 mode....

yes SSAO is OFF .. nope dint install the hotfix.. i guess its only for some issues?? this slowdown problem during ROad rage am having for .... the drivers ..8.12 , 9.6 , 9.8 and now 9.12 all tested .. same slowdowns how does not running processes in back ground help reducing FPS slowdowsn ...

I play Burnout Paradise at 1440 x 900.. on my MSI hd 4850 @640 (stock) Now... normally the Game runs at constant 60 FPS ..with the FPS dropping to 50 sometimes in the city..... But when i run Road Rage .. ( within the city ) The smoothness goes... and During crashes .. with lots of particles...

ok do u have crysis warhead??? the settings i play at are High - GAmer with No AA ... If you have Crysis warhead plz try playing at similar settings in directx 9 mode and tell me the FPS u get?? since we have similar systems we should get similar FPS? u should i lil more ?? Pleas do check :)

ya i tried vsync on same fps... by the way i get a strange anomoly.. in far cry 2 when i set settings to ultra high i get 25- 35 fps but when i chnage to very high i get 15- 25 fps... but when i run benchmark for both settings i get 36 fps in very high and 28 fps in ultra high ??? :) can...
