^ These are good areas to stay. You can add Kasturi Nagar to the list. Marathalli to CDAC should be ~30mins by Volvo bus. Look for a PG. Start from ~3k/mo for shared rooms.

The areas near the metro line are kinda expensive. Maybe you can try places near Ulsoor. You should look along the Outer Ring Road, K.R.Puram to Marathalli section. CDAC is easily accessible from these areas by bus.

While top loaders have just a drain valve. This means extra initial cost and possibly costlier maintenance. Im pretty sure the pump uses more electricity than valves. Are there any front loaders with drain valves?

Thanks! I had to change the settings on "Secret Code Revealer" to get it to work. ICS has a bug with switching between 2G and 3G. I had to use a shortcut from widgetsoid to be able to toggle. Pantech ICS ROM is messed up.

^ Is the supply at 100V all day? What happens when the supply is at 220V - probably burn the equipment? The step-down converters usually have a fixed 2:1 winding ratio. So 220V will get converted to 110V. If supply is only 180V, then output will also go down to 90V. Low voltage problem...

Im not able to turn on USB tethering after the ICS update, asks me to call AT&T. With Gingerbread, I used "Code Revealer" app to get past the AT&T restriction. With ICS, though I see the correct settings in the "Code Revealer" app, Im not able to enable tethering. Any other way without rooting?

None of them can work. People would be using it for insulating pipes and so many other things if a thin layer of paint can be insulating.
