Given the vast community and plugin support for Volumio, opted for it for my first foray into DIY streaming. Will try Moose but if it doesn't have Tidal Connect then might not stay around as have a Tidal account and Volumio has Tidal plugin although need Volumio subscription too, to access it.

In Volumio, made the change to start its own access point in case it doesn't find any Wi-Fi network. Coupled that Bubble UPnP/Hi-FiCast on Android, it made for a nifty local media streamer. The wiring pic shows the "Balancing" act

All of this takes care of pretty much everything except for one last thing, please let me.know if that game pass trick that was mentioned in a thread on the forum still works or not, where one could get gold or whatever high level membership for 6 months for just 50/-, if I remember correctly.

Mitsubishi Heavy ones have it. Their 1.5 ton Split with Heat pump was quoted to me @58K As for me, wasn't able to source a good fixed speed General one so settled for Inverter one, 1.5 ton Split @ 44K
