Did the mail cone from qla department. If so then your account may be black listed.

File eBay guarantee asap. If your purchase is within 30 days from today, ebay will cover it. Don't say DOA as ebay expects you to raise DOA within 7 days. Say defective or whatever.

Update. Though its not showing in explorer and recuva, the drive is showing in eauseus data recovery. I am running win 8.1. I have not tried recovery as i have heard linux tools are better and more reliable. Can someone suggest some easy to use linux bootable recovery guides and software.

Nothing will happen. You have to go through the whole process for unpaid item to cancel the order or ebay will charge you as normal.
