    what is ambient room temperature? also,..did you check the CPU temperature from bios? is there any difference from what HWM is reporting? another case might be is that you just got a chip that runs a little hot no matter what

    the VCore reported (1.33V) is ideal for a phenom II 920. (unless its reporting wrong volts...but that doesn't seem to be the case) those temps are slightly on the higher side for even on load. maybe the heatsink needs a little cleaning? are you using the latest bios?

    agreed,.single card setup is definitely better than crossfire. but check out its performance in rest of the games in the review. 4770 CF leads in almost all games. moreover,.couple of 4770's will cost you 13k (excluding the cost of a CF motherbaord + PSU) while gtx 275 will easily be around 20k...
