I was facing exactly similar issues couple of days back, in my case PC did power up but after multiple attempts, 5-6 attempts. I replaced my PSU and everything is working fine now. I suspect ur PSU to be the faulty component.

I arranged for a spare PSU and used that in my rig and it seems to be booting fine now. I will test it for a couple of days and if all goes ok then will give my PSU for RMA.

There is an option of speed dialing in on the stock ROM. U might wanna use it for frequently dialed numbers. Just go to Settings>> Call Settings>> Speed Dial

Did u try copying off all the data on ur PC, do u get any corrupted data error?? I was having similar issues after an App install. Later I found out that it was due to corrupt data on SD card. Easiest solution was a FULL FORMAT of SD card from my PC. Do try it.
