^click customize and choose servers in your vicinity. it should show you the best pings. it shows me all the Singapore servers when i do that. also, if you know you get good pings to Singapore, simply customize to show only SG servers. @sajitsm, how about it? any luck with your ping?

what ISP are you on? give them this IP address 202.156.3.171:27961 and try telling them that your ping to this is currently 350 and you'd require it to be around 50 because you want to play games. that IP is a quake 3 IP but it doesn't matter. although, i really really doubt you're going to get...

you can't fix your ping. it's your ISP's routing. nothing you can do about it except maybe talk to them and see if they'll help you out but that's highly unlikely. mine's _ashr (with an underscore)

i'm getting 65

The Singapore server has gone live. some people might get good pings. I personally get 65 but many get above 130 which is still bad. check it out and see if it's any good for you. Still hoping for something in India.

why don't you play cs 1.6 instead?

yes, but that number is just what a single rig can handle. we're not going to get that many people online at the same time. Indiatimes gaming were willing to give id a box but they couldn't install Debian so it stopped there :(

yeah i don't quite realize what i do either... it's one of those things that when you land it a couple of times, you just go on.

after the dash cancel, try holding down PPP, d,f,d,f RELEASE PPP instead of d,f,d,f press PPP. with this method, you won't face the problem of not hitting all 3 punch buttons correctly at the same time.

there are no SG servers up yet as far as i know.
