I have odyssey g9 and rdr2 uses about 6-7 gigs or vram on my 4080 super. At 5120x1440. Everything maxed out Can you tell me what's the reason it's consuming less vram on my system compared to yours?

No i never noticed a black smearing. I don't think if this monitor has a drawback and no i would say folks can go for budget panels.
