I believe the 1215N is an improvement over the 1201N that I picked up around three months ago. The 1201N's dual core atom and Nvidia ION can handle 720p/1080p content quite well and is no slouch when running PS either. The only drawback is the battery life which tops out at just over 3 hours.

I've been running KIS 11 on a netbook and it doesn't seem to be too heavy on resources. I prefer sticking with KIS since I've been using it for a while now.

Unless you plan to upgrade your mobo again soon, it's always better to go with one that's future proof i.e. usb3.
