Agreed that it is good. For me, more then the back light, it is the free flowing trackball that causes heartburn when watching movies with XBMC. The xbmc menu bar slides out everytime I pick the remote as the trackball moves !!! All said and done, worth at this price.

Of course it will work very well. Remember that the Sata 6gb/s is a complete hogwash with current hard drives. Hard drives cannot even saturate the old Sata 3gb/s. But this is a good drive for sure.

You should concentrate on low noise and low power for a HTPC and a DL rig, this system is a complete overkill with 4gb and a HD5570. It wil lhelp you do a little gaming though :-)
