Windows 7 installs in 22 minutes

22 minutes sounds about right for my system. Should be faster on such a high-end rig. Still, it's only beta.

Must Read - Mac OS X Flaws : Not User Friendly!

Yes you can. In fact, there's a whole thread on it somewhere here. If you can't find your answers there, InsanelyMac is your friend. Dunno if it'll install well (if at all) on AMD hardware, it does installl on Intel HW nearly perfectly.

The world's fastest processor - arun_rulezzz does it again!

^ Aren't the X58 series capable of running both CrossFire and SLI? I thought Intel had sorted this out with Nvidia. Congrats arun, that is seriously drool-worthy stuff..

Great torrent site for TV Shows

I used to use suprnova.tv for my sci-fi shows. Seeder count may be a bit low, but I still get good speeds from them. EZTV is great for the latest shows, tho.

'Major cables cut, Internet traffic disrupted' - Anyone facing bandwidth issues?

    BenQ E2200HD Review

Just saw this today.. it's freakin' huuuuge!!! I know it's 22" and therefore, wider than my TV, but knowing it and seeing are two entirely different things... Guy quoted me 12,750 for it. Asked him about dead pixel warranty and he mentioned 4 dead pixels. Is this right? Might pick it in the...

    CPU/Mobo Pentium D805 vs E2160

I suggest you upgrade both your mobo and cpu (if you can). Trust me, while the D805 was a good processor (I never could overclock it, though OC potential why I chose it), I was constantly worried about temperatures. It really heats up, and it's not very efficient. The E2160, OOTH, is...

    NFS Series to be Discontinued?

I miss the good old days of NFS i.e. the first few versions. The last one I played was UG2. NFS imo lost the plot when they decided to go 'street' instead of sticking with the old formula - exotic cars, great locales etc. They could have spun-off Underground into its own series to continue with...

Storage Solutions Seagate or WD 500?

I thought so. He quoted me Rs 4650 for a CM 690 w/o transparent panel. Had to check out other places so didn't exactly argue with him. Good to know that he does give you good prices tho. Some dealers will continue to quote inflated prices no matter what. Thanks Sei, and the convo in your link...

Storage Solutions Seagate or WD 500?

Sorry for the OT post, Sei, but is this the same place located between MG Road and East Street. If yes, is it a good dealership?

    Linux Debian 4.0r5 opinions ?

Try Linux Mint. Think it's up to v5.0 now. It's based on Ubuntu (and therefore Debian), comes with proprietary codecs installed, and is very, very simple to use. Most comfortable I've felt while using a Linux distro. It comes with both Gnome and KDE (don't know if they use the latest version...

Monitors Dilemma - new lcd or new gpu ?

You've summarized some of my concerns quite well, especially this. The only reason I'm considering a new monitor (a 22" one, anyway) was because I had to leave my 17" CRT behind when moving cities. Was planning on buying a Dell 19" and closing the matter. Got a little extra cash and that is...
