FS: Others Lg V20 Extended 4100mh battery and other v20 accessories

Oh.. I should have clarified.. I'm running Pixel Experience. You must have thought which weirdo would be happy with miui.. Though I am not a fan of miui in its default state, if debloated well it is quite smooth (I've done this in a Redmi Note 8 Pro and it is quite stable and smooth).

FS: Others Lg V20 Extended 4100mh battery and other v20 accessories

Agreed. I switched to the V20 from a Redmi Note 3/4 back in 2017 and I was surprised to see that this wasn't any faster in real life usage. Honestly, I felt that the Redmi Note 3 on Lineage OS felt much snappier. Even if we leave aside the speed aspect, it was the undependable battery that...

    0-20k Mid-Life Laptop Upgrades

If you're planning to keep this laptop for a year and junk it after that, better to hold off on the RAM upgrade-especially since it's DDR3. The SSD can be used somewhere else. Better to buy an SSD in the m.2 form factor as the newer laptops support this. I think there is an m.2 to SATA enclosure...

Very true. I think it's called HDD caddy. Kingston or Crucial sells a kit, if I remember correctly.

    0-20k Mid-Life Laptop Upgrades

Nice topic. Agreed with most of the inputs above. I have upgraded the following: 1) My brother's Thinkpad L460 (I think that's the model- 2017/18, upgraded in 2020) -an additional 4GB RAM (Crucial Basics, I think) totaling to 8GB and -a BX500 400 GB SATA SSD 2) My Predator H300 (2017/8)...

FS: Laptop SOLD - Sony Vaio 15.6"Laptop

I had a 14 inch Vaio E- lasted me for a very long time (I think from 2009 till 2017). This seems to be the 15.6 inch one and its RAM should be upgradeable (I think it's accessible with the hatch that's under the card that has the user id and date written on it- 5th pic, I think). There are 2...

FS: Keyboard and Mice Logitech K480 Keyboard

Hi, Am putting up my Logitech K480 keyboard for sale. I used to use it very sparingly for some word processing with my old Xiaomi MiPad and with a Tegra Note 7 before (RIP- you won't be missed). This thing has a slot for holding a tablet at a convenient angle while typing. The largest tablet...

FS: Tablet [WITHDRAWN] Xiaomi Mi Pad 2016 White color 1536 x 2048 screen 7.9 inches 6700 mAh battery

Hi, Am putting up my Xiaomi MiPad for sale. It's running on a Tegra K1 and though it's having only 2GB RAM, it still chugs along. I haven't changed this one's software since I was using it soley for media consumption and some word processing. The Mi Pad does have some advantages: - Compact as...

Android Poco F1's popularity; thoughts on Poco X3 Pro & Poco F3

Ah.. I also had the Redmi Note 3 from 2017 onwards.. Was using it as a backup/ general phone in the house. This thing is also a legend.. I was really surprised as to how usable it was even now when running lineageOS. Very snappy in day to day use. Another member on TE has bought it from me and...

Android Now that LG is wrapping up, wish to buy LG G8X as my last LG purchase...

I have owned two LG phones- the first one was an LG Optimus 4X HD and the second one (which is my backup phone) is the LG V20. The Optimus 4X HD was owned by me from 2012 to 2017. Nice hardware, screen and camera that was ruined by the lousy Tegra 3 chipset. This one was turkey if I had ever...

Android Poco F1's popularity; thoughts on Poco X3 Pro & Poco F3

Very true about the Nord- that is OnePlus blatantly trying to cash in on its existing goodwill. I was *this* close to buying a Nord. Thankfully, I waited it out for the reviews and the final nail in the coffin was when it flunked the jerryrig durability test. Providence came in the form of the...

Android Poco F1's popularity; thoughts on Poco X3 Pro & Poco F3

I am the proud owner of an F1- thanks to @TheBark cutting me a good deal for my dream version- an 8/256GB Armored Edition with an unlocked bootloader and running Pixel Experience. It's like having an unofficial Pixel 3/XL. I've been keeping an eye on the Poco F1 classifieds here for quite...

FS: Mobile Oneplus 7T Pro Haze Blue (8GB/256GB)

Lol! Same reason why I have also stayed away from the Samsung camp due to their bloated UI and more importantly, Exynos chipsets in their higher end variants. Even though I like (and am using) stock (or near stock) Android, I also kind of understand where soulweaver is coming from. Samsung's...

FS: Mobile Redmi Note 3 3GB RAM, 32GB Internal Storage Silver Variant

Funny thing is that the Redmi Note 3 is still quite zippy. I find it to be smoother and quicker in daily use than my LG V20. Gaming performance wasn't bad either. I used to play XCOM on it and it handled it well (no frame drops or choppiness).
