If you are okay with charging your phone daily, then Spice Mi-410. No Android phone can give you two days battery backup with normal usage. Some guys might claim that the Nokia phones are able to give 2 days of battery life, may be that's because you might not like to fiddle with it's features...

See the realtime usage videos posted by gsmarena(SIIvsSGS+vsO2X) and mobile-review(SGS vs O2X). The dual core in O2x doesn't play 720p videos in browser (not sure about in cyanogenmod). NO big difference in gaming too. Camera sensor may be 8mp, but the quality isn't stunning, even the 1080p...

Why increase the OP's budget to 24K when he can get Nexus S at 19K. As of now, not much of a difference between Nexus S and O2X. And Nexus S will be the first to get ICS, due to the developer community's support.

@simforgotten - like DA said, the screen guard that i had bought screwed the superb super amoled display. But i had it on for few weeks as i had spent some money on that, also i hadn't heard about gorilla glass at that time. Later i got frustrated and removed it and had the phone happily ever...
