^^ That's true and during operation, the lens doesn't stick out like a bazooka like on many other super zooms. However, it certainly isn't a "pocketable" camera. I myself am contemplating on getting an ultra compact for those occasions that wouldn't warrant / accommodate the FZ35.

Phoenix, among the ones listed, TZ7 is better than SX200. Don't know about the Sonys though. And yeah, if you don't mid the bulk, the FZ35 suggested by Kippu is great! I got one last week at 19.7k grey in BLR.

I've run a ATI 4850 and an nVidia 8800GTS side by side in XP and Win7 for the Physx effects in Mirrors Edge. Unfortunately, this seems to be the only game where such a combination doesn't give any performance boost, though the game still works fine.

Probably the 4850 is the bottleneck at 1920x1080? Maybe RE5 isn't happy with just 512MB?

Maybe I had a bad batch, but I bought three of these earlier from KMD and all three went bad within 6 months (they don't rotate anymore). Installation was in both orientations and I know some say the sleeve bearing ones shouldn't be mounted horizontally, but then even the vertically mounted ones...

Some motherboards (mostly older ones) don't provide enough juice to reliably run bus-powered 2.5" external HDDs and higher capacity USB sticks, but will work just fine with low pwer devices like USB mice and keyboards. Is your's a similar situation?
